Course Description
The course will cover a number of topics relating to electronics and robotics applications. These include:- an introduction to electricity
- an introduction to programming
- types of electrical 'vision' (radar, ultrasonic, etc.)
- microcomputers/microcontrollers (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc.)
- electrical input and output devices (buttons, motors, LCDs, etc.)
The course will provide small presentations/lessons on how these building blocks function, then implement them in a lab. The end goal would be to have students work in groups of 3 and integrate a number of components with an Arduino onto a chassis, resulting in a robotic vehicle by the end of the week."
