Over the course of a week, participants will delve into short texts and documentaries that serve as gateways to the realm of urban anthropology. Each day, students will delve into both the practical skills and theoretical foundations of anthropological research, encompassing the rich history of anthropological inquiry, ethical considerations, interview techniques, fieldnote practices, participant observation, and engaging in debates surrounding the historical and contemporary dimensions of anthropological methodology and research. The emphasis lies on experiential learning, with daily mini-workshops guiding students towards their final mini-ethnographic project. The daily schedule is designed to immerse participants in theoretical exploration during the first half of the day, followed by hands-on engagement in mini-workshops during the second half.
