Course Description

"What if you were able to participate in a mini course on risk sciences where concepts normally introduced in greater detail, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, are part of the curriculum. If this interests you, then this mini-course is designed to help students better understand and explain the health and environmental risks from daily events (e.g., brushing our teeth) all the way to cutting-edge discoveries such as organ-on-a-chip.

Through various activities, lessons, and insights from experts, students will be introduced to risk sciences and will leave with a better understanding of what makes situations harmful."
