Course Description
By the end of the course, students will understand how and why the gender achievement gap exists in Canada from the 1900s to today, and they will be able to explain the broader connections between gender and education.
Biography
I am a first-year B.Ed. student with a background in women’s history, focusing on women’s education in the 20th century. I bring three years of tutoring experience in French, English, and math for learners aged 4 to 15, as well as two years of experience as a camp counsellor working with marginalized and underrepresented teens.
