Through this course, students will learn to think critically and interdisciplinarily, experiment with non-traditional learning strategies and educational frameworks, and leave with a personalized idea bank of tips and tricks to help them succeed in their post-secondary education and future careers.

Biography

My name is Jazmin Jones and I am a fourth-year student in the Second Language Teaching program in French Immersion. As a result, I am extremely familiar with the creation of lesson and unit plans and teaching strategies aimed at the modern student. Additionally, I currently work in residence as a community advisor, leading events for students in groups of up to 50 residents, planning monthly meetings, etc. In addition to this, during high school, I worked as an assistant math teacher for Spirit of Math schools (for three years, grades 1, 2, and 3) and was the Co-President and Co-Founder of the Feminist club at my high school.
