Responsible Citizens: Youth Participation in Sustainability

Course Description

This proposal will allow awareness, idea generation and networking in the sustainability ecosystem. Students will strengthen their leadership and innovation capacity.
The mini-course will start providing an international development framework and study cases. Speakers will be invited. Students will be asked to identify social problems, discuss challenges and translate them to local context.
Student groups will pick one local challenge for group analysis and propose innovative and realistic solutions. They will be encouraged to use their capabilities to solve problems locally. At the end of the course, each group will present their analysis and proposed solutions to a jury.
