Youth Activism: The Voices of a New Generation

This course will explore different social and environmental movements in which youth have expressed interest in or have been in the forefront. The intent of this course is to explore the deeper reasoning behind social movements, the potential causes that have driven large numbers of youth to join the movements, and will encourage students to understand the meaning of what "activism" truly entails both academically and in their personal lives.
