Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods play a large role in the Canadian legal system. However, oftentimes these effective methods are disregarded and overlooked within the complete portrait of our legal system. After teaching the foundations of ADR and contrasting it to Litigation, the animator will engage students through simulation-based experiences. Students will be assigned roles within different fact patterns, where they must problem solve, negotiate, and cooperate to reach settlement.
