Course Description
This one-week interactive mini-course introduces students to the fascinating world of criminal law in Canada through the lens of financial crime prevention. Students will explore how Canadian laws combat money laundering and terrorist financing, and how new technologies—like cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence—are reshaping both crime and law enforcement. By the end of the course, students will understand how law, technology, and ethics intersect, and how young people can be informed digital citizens in an increasingly connected world.
