Biographie

Hi! I am Manmeet Kaur, a Nutrition and Food Biosciences Masters student at the University of Ottawa and a Pharmacist from India. I have seen the world of medicines and how it is not the answer to your health and wellbeing. This experience has led me to find healthier, perhaps more natural ways of facilitating good health. My research explores how foods and nutrients impact health at the molecular level, especially how our everyday choices shape long-term wellbeing. I have taught many courses including molecular pharmacology, and pathophysiology to pharmacy students, which made me realize my passion about helping young people understand what science can really do. I want to use all my experience and my passion to help you in making smarter, healthier decisions. Through this course, I aim to make nutrition and food look practical, science-based, and fun to explore!
