This course introduces students to Indigenous law and Canadian legal traditions, with a focus on the unique perspectives of First Nations, Iunit and Métis peoples. Students will learn about pathways to law school and explore the many career options available with a law degree. The course emphasizes the importance of Indigenous representation in the legal profession and encourages students to consider how they can contribute to shaping a more inclusive justice system.
